WHAT’S THIS?　Q. これなに？

I flew to Seoul today.
The weather in Seoul is full of cloud, slightly rainy, temperature seven degrees Celsius. It’s a short trip to return on Tuesday.

After documenting the exhibition space with a photographer Kenshu Shintsubo this week, the memory of Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium came back.
In the Deep Ocean area, it said “Deep-sea fish explode when they are taken out from the deep”.
Deep-sea fish seen in aquarium are actually injected mutants that can never return where they used to be.
The view under water and that in the sky are so similar, it’s a surprise to me.

In December, I am going to Aomori in Japan and Lagos in Nigeria.
It is actually my first time to get vaccination and malaria drug for traveling.
Malaria and influenza feel similar also?

今日は、ソウルに飛んだ。
今夜のソウル上空は雲が多く、小雨が降り、気温は摂氏７度。火曜には戻る短い旅。

今週、新津保建秀さんと未来館の展示空間を撮影したら、9月に訪ねた沖縄のちゅらうみ水族館を思い出した。
深海のコーナーで、「深海魚は水揚げすると破裂する」と書いてあった。
水族館の深海魚は、注射で地上の気圧に慣らされた、二度と深海に戻ることができない変異体らしい。
海底も上空も、景色は似ているのにね。

12月は、青森と、ナイジェリア・ラゴスに行く。
旅行のための予防接種も、マラリアの薬も、初めて。
マラリアとインフルエンザも似ている？
