spring rain　春雨

I have flown to Paris to see Take.
To talk about our dreams for whole three days.

It was in spring in 2000 I first visited this city.
It was when I met Take for the first time.
He took me to two fashion shows, Bernhard Willhelm and Jurgi Persoons, telling me they were the very young very intriguing designers.
They became the first fashion shows that I've seen in my life.
Bernhard Willhelm showed films of girls jumping on trampolines from three different angles on three different screens. No actual models.
Jurgi Persoons put models in a row in the tube corridor at the top of the Pompidou, letting people walk through those motionless models.
They were truly young and intriguing, showing off their free spirit always ready to challenge anything new and fresh.

The new thing in Paris this time was "rain and sunset" together with "rainbow and hulahoop".
Spring rain in Paris brought us a fabulous view.
When we were running home from a walk, the gorgeous heavy spring rain caught us and we got 100% wet from head to toes. We were laughing as we were fully wet. And we suddenly looked back to find this huge sunset at the end of the street. So shiny orange blinded our eyes, we had to turn away. Gorgeousness, we saw the rainbow like a huge hulahoop in the sky on the front.

The weather in Paris, is spring and lively.
Our dream is spring and lively, too.

平川さんに会いにパリへひとっ飛びしたのは、３日間、贅沢に夢の相談をするため。

初めてこの街を訪れたのは2000年の春。
初めて平川さんに会ったとき。
このとき、平川さんが、若くて面白い子たちだから、と連れて行ってくれたBernhard WillhelmとJurgi Persoonは、初めて見る本物のファッションショウになった。
Bernhard Willhelmは、三面のスクリーンに、トランポリンの上でモデルが飛び跳ねる映像を映し、実物なし。
Jurgi Persoonは、ポンピドーのチューブ状の廊下にモデルを一列に立たせ、観客にその間を縫って動き回らせた。
彼らは本当に若くて面白く、新しさへの挑戦を楽しむ自由な心をよくよく見せつけてくれた。

今回の初めては、雨と夕日。虹とフラフープ。
家まで急いで帰る途中、バケツをひっくり返したような雨のせいで、頭の天辺からつま先までびしょぬれになった私たちが、あまりの濡れっぷりに大笑いして、ふと振り返ると、巨大な夕日が道の向こうに見える。あまりに大きくて眩しいオレンジ色に目を背けると、正面には、オレンジ色の空に、フラフープのような七色の虹。

パリの天気は、春で上々。
私たちの夢も、春で上々。
